Shoe designer's Rupert Sanderson first stand-alone boutique outside London, the store showcases the exquisite women’s footwear that has already garnered him the Elle Style Award 2009 and British Fashion Council’s Accessory Designer of the Year 2008, not to mention an ever-growing A-list celebrity following. About the shop, just before its opening in April 2010, Sanderson was saying: “Paris and the shop space we have chosen just feel perfect for us now. Since the age of 19 when I slept off a spectacular and magical Paris night in one of the green chairs scattered around the fountain, I’ve always loved the Palais Royal. The store is a wonderfully Parisian space spread over two floors and overlooking the north end of the Palais Royal. I’m doing it for the best of reasons – I fell in love with it and that’s that.”
