Tortus Copenhagen

Tortus designs and produces high quality hand-made ceramics in the heart of Copenhagen. Tortus invites visitors to shop the full array of products in an authentic making environment and also to get insights into the making process. The main house, which is quite well known among natives, was build in the 1734 after the big Copenhagen fire of 1728. The wood truss-style courtyard house that Tortus calls home was built in 1830. The courtyard is noted as one of the cities best kept secrets, a real green oasis in the middle of the Copenhagen's bustling commercial center.
