Common People

Opened in August 2013 in the heart of Stockbridge, Edinburgh’s up-and-coming fashionable neighbourhood, Common People is designed for people with a common interest in premium clothing and footwear. The 600 sq ft retail space is the converted ground floor of a Georgian townhouse, surrounded by independent boutiques, bistro-pubs, cocktail saloons and gent’s barbershops. Created by Kestin Hare, former Head of Design at Nigel Cabourn, Common People represents a movement back to provenance and focuses on premium quality, craftsmanship and local sourcing to create a contemporary product with purist identity and unique detailing.
